Vittorio Felisati [Mestre (Venice), 1912-2004] went to the Artschool with Gigi Candiani under the guidance of Professor Urbani De Gheltof. At a time when he was still very young, he already exposed at a collective exhibition in the Bevilacqua La Masa opera in Venice. He obtained several rewards for his work as an artist. In 1962 the Golden Paintbrush was attributed to him during the Mestre Paint reward. In 1983 the City of Venice organized an anthological exhibition with 35 of his works from 1930 till 1981. In 2003 an exhibition was dedicated to him in the Cultural Centre “Candiani” in Mestre (Venice). More than sixty paintings were exhibited, allowing an overview of his career as a painter. In 2008 the exhibition entitled La Vénétie méconnue / Het miskende Veneto took place in Brussels with the exhibition of 30 works not yet known to the international public.

Très jeune, il participe à l’exposition collective Bevilacqua La Masa, à Venise, où pour la première fois ses talents d’artiste sont reconnus. En 1962, il reçoit le Pinceau d’or à l’occasion du Prix de Peinture Mestre. En 1983, la Commune de Venise organise une exposition anthologique autour de 30 de ses œuvres, couvrant la période de 1930 à 1981. En 2003, une exposition lui est consacrée au Centre Culturel « Candiani » de Mestre (Venise) qui retrace son parcours artistique à travers une soixantaine d’œuvres. En 2008, l’exposition intitulée La Vénétie méconnue / Het miskende Veneto a eu lieu à Bruxelles avec l’exposition de 30 œuvres non encore connues du public international.
